Dear John, Back in Feb I bought some abrasives from you. I used it today and wow!! What a difference. I didn't think that there could be such a variation in quality and final finish. I had had a disaster with a Maple bowl blank and after leaving it for a few days, so that I could calm down, I finally decided it was too nice a piece to waste, so I set too and made quite a good job of saving it (though I do say so myself). This is where your abrasives come in.... brilliant no rings from previous grits were left as had previously happened to me, the finish is superb. Thank you.

Both myself and my partner Christine found your DVD compulsory viewing, we were both glued to your DVD which I was running on my PC. The camera work and your commentary were brilliant. I will certainly recommend your double DVD to all the members of my club (Which you attended last year) Garden of England woodturners. I have a few DVD's and Video's of woodturning. From Jon    Hello John, Thanks for the speedy delivery of your new DVD. You have again produced a great product, I watched it as soon as I got it and am now fired up to make the Lighthouse. The only thing I cant seem to get is Mopane, I have some Leadwood which I have cut threads in before so I may use it as a substitute. Thanks again, Jon

I always thought Thread chasing was something akin to brain surgery but your DVD has dispelled that idea completely. I was very impressed with your use of the grinding wheel on the lathe and the little Pigtail mandrel for the polishing mop. Please keep producing the DVD's. Richard

From Jon   Hello, I thought I would just drop you a line to say how good your new DVD is. It has been just what I needed to improve my threads. They are now cleaner and better fitting than before and even more fun to do! My latest Zulu box came out better and quicker than any of my previous attempts. From Bill   Hello John, I just got your receipt for my order, many thanks. I was watching one of your video clips last night and feel as if I know you already. I ordered some of your hegner abrasives some time ago but did not use any until last night, I fully agree with you that it seems to be the best sandpaper I have used since I started turning. I was using all my previous supply of another type, when I saw your material was still available at the reasonable price of £12.65 I thought I better place an order for more in case it becomes discontinued. I am cutting it into circular pieces to suit a rotary sanding gadget I bought from Vic Wood in Australia ,it is absolutely magic as it uses the power of the lathe an does not need a power source . It allows me to maintain the discipline of never missing a grade for a much better finish .we never stop learning do we??
